I am preparing for a trip to Russian Georgia, a country that has had a turbulent history. The Romans, Turks and most recently. The Russians have invaded it and left their mark on the Culture, Art , Architecture and History of the country.
I am travelling with a small group of scholars/historians and am the ‘team artist”, I hope to return in mid July with a painted record of the trip.
